Parasio is the promontory you can admire above, in the photo on the right. Interesting from an architectural viewpoint, it's a historic symbol of Imperia giving you the chance to appreciate: churches, ancient buildings and the carruggi, traditional ligurian alleys. Parasio also offers wonderful views and unforgettable sunsets to its visitors.
Villa Bianca, well-known as Villa Grock, was Charles Adrien Wettach's residence. Charles Wettach, known to most as Clown Grock, was one of the most influential and famous clown during the first half of the 20th century. He decided to erect his own villa on a little hill in Imperia and thanks to his attention to details, he succeeded in transfering his own spirit and passions to this magnificent building.
Inaugurated in 1992, it is located in Imperia, in the historic headquarter of Fratelli Carli, one of the most known Ligurian firm in the industry of olive oil production.
Going along a path made up of 18 rooms, you will immerse yourselves into the history of the olive tree, plant which had been the principal resource for the local economy for centuries and which still distinguishes the landscape in the Riviera dei Fiori.
It takes just half an hour, from the holiday home Arch of Light, to get to the first stage (San lorenzo al Mare) of a unique, relaxing and fascinating cicle path along the Ligurian coast.
Built on the neglected railway, it is 24 km long and it lets you to reach 5 different cities (included Sanremo) walking or riding your own bike or a rental one.
